PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

I have experience working with children and adults in a variety of settings.  Serving in the public sector, I have provided assessments and treatment planning for youth at risk for out-of-home placement, and I currently work in an integrated medical care setting addressing the mental health needs of both children and adults.  I have worked in residential treatment centers, treating children and adolescents presenting with severe mood disorders, post-traumatic stress, and substance abuse problems.  I have worked as a therapist and evaluator on an acute unit at a children’s psychiatric hospital.  More recently, I have worked in private practice, assessing and treating children, adolescents, adults, and families with behavioral difficulties, anxiety, mood disorders, relationship difficulties, ADHD, and trauma.
